About Rotary District 5130

Rotary International is organized into Rotary Districts throughout the world.  Each District is a regional collection of clubs guided by a District Governor. 

The Rotary Club of Lakeport is one of 44 Clubs which compose District 5130, which encompasses the Northern California coastal region from the Santa Rosa area to the Oregon border.

While many projects are carried out by individual clubs, others are a District-wide effort.   Among these is Adopt-a-Village, Project Share Life, a Bone Marrow Donor Registration project that is a continuing effort to build the database of potential bone marrow donors throughout the United States.  

Rotary Clubs from around the district also get together for the annual Foundation Dinners in Santa Rosa and Eureka, celebrating District 5130’s commitment to the Rotary Foundation, the international fundraising effort of Rotary International.  

Our District Youth Exchange Students gather for a number of district-wide events which are incredible weekends of cultural exchange and fellowship.   Among the goals of these district wide efforts is to build on the sense of unity that exists among all Rotarians.
